I've just realised we have all commited to this steelbook purchase without even seeing a price.

Any guesstimates on what the price will be delivered to the UK ??? I paid zavvi £22 for mine. So I don't want to pay more than £28 at the most for a full slip version.

Based on past costs, I'm guessing the Steelbook cost will be around 700 CZK (806 inc. HDN/PayPal fees), then it's 307 CZK (inc. fees) to ship 1-2 Steelbooks to UK.

So that's 1113 CZK = £28.67 delivered based on current exchange rate (excluding any potential tips).

.....Or seeing the slip
But if people didn't manage to get the zavvi one and want or wanted one ,which is now going for high 30,s to 50 English pounds on ebay.
you going to get the same one + a slip which suppose can throw or not if don t like for a lot lower price than the bay amazon.
maybe ask GB Host if they got just a slip can purchase ,guess they must keep order a number spare ones in case of damaged ones.
Can order this one , then sell zavvi one for higher price ... Result
its the same steel no

wardyyy23 quote
"I don't think everyone will get one of these in the GB. It should be 1 copy per a member not 2" :(

Mentioned that in early post didn t get much love ha ha

If anyone had spare slips it would be Film Arena, not the GB host - and no, Film Arena do not sell the slips separately.

Film Arena's quality control seems to be really good, so I highly doubt they'd be handing out anything that was damaged, I'm sure Karel (GB host) checks them all before shipping too.
I don't see anything Karel sends out getting damaged in the post either (unless the postal service dump the parcels in the way of a steam roller :p) as his packaging is bomb-proof.

Yeah i mean he could get in touch with them for the GB buyer as seems to go pick them so they have a shop can talk face to face.
so if i ordered one direct from Film arena and for some reason either did get damage in transit or was lets say a fault with slip.
They would send another steelbook with slip ,not just a slip .
thought they had spares as seen these threads posts where they sent empty steels replacements so just concluded must have spare slips as well.
Thanks for your answer

i didnt mean its a conspiracy or anything wrong with it .
i know its just friends tagging friends .
And waiting for a rush of mails or checking logging in if possible with work etc every time get a alert seems not very clever way of doing things.
Just posted what i thought would be ideal and logical and fair for all way, for everyone who s a member here.
sending a site wide email is no different from sending one person one, just different click click/setting for the staff.

Do You know how many GB's go live ALL the time? That would be difficult.

It sounds like you are criticizing the way this site is run, and that Is pretty disrespectful.

Your posts paint you as a victim of unfairness. It's rudiculous. Everyone has the same chances.

I agree with you post Mate, it's very simple, register to the thread and do your follow ups. it is a collecting habit that needs involvement on our part. It is not a hobby to be passive.

and indeed everyone has the same chance for every Group buy, it depends how involve you want to be. If it is something that important to the member(any members), that member will make it happen.

For the Group Buy, it is the way Karel has been doing his FAC group buys from the beginning, The print Run as really no relevance, it is the amount of copies that Karel is able to secure for his Group Buy that counts. So whether the print run is 500 or 1000, it is that 299 copies secured by Karel that counts. and as Karel had Stated in the Previous Group Buy for Whiplash print run of 500 copies, since he was able to secure 290 copies he did not agree to change his ''2 copies per member'' rule. He stated that since he had secured 290 copies for the GB that he will hold this rule and not change it. He has had that rule since the beginning of film arena collection since he launched his Gb at the beginning of the year and for this GB he was able to secure 299 copies, so the rule of 2 copies per member will remain.

Just an FYI; WRECK owner of HDN doing his GB for GOTG which is one of the most popular GB on HDN also right now, has a limited amount of copies for his Group Buy and holds the rule of ''2 copies per member'' for his GB. So if the owner of this site holds this rule with a limited Gb amount of copies, Karel with his Massive Group Buys (290 and more is massive GB copies) nobody should disrespect the way Karel decides to run his GB as he is the most Fair man. For Gb 500 copies print run and more since he secures a massive amount of copies for the Group Buys, whether they sell in 2h, 6h, one day, everybody has the same chance. How fast WRECK's GOTG GB got sold at ''2 copies per member'' ? it was lightning speed !

Hey folks, let's get back on topic please, each party has made their point clear to the other, re-hashing the same over and over isn't going to make a difference at this point. @Sigill has already addressed the matter. Time to move on.

Feel free to continue this convo in the chat section or by PM if you wish. Thanks.
