Is that a fact? If so it hardly seems fair on those that drew the poor old high numbers.

and why wouldn't it be fair ? it had to start with someone...

if you are 6 months late to subscribe to their reward program, it is normal that numbers are high at that point....

Add also this program film arena started it to please their ''Czech Collectors'' as it was in demand from them. After that, early in the year when FAC crossed over to HDN, international collectors started to get into this program.

its a fact yes. this is how it works with film arena. if you collectible number is higher than the print run you are not guaranteed a copy

Dumb. If they know they are going to have to allocate an exact number to certain buyers before the thing is even made, then increase the print run to make up for this number.

2 questions.
1. 751 such an odd count, is that normal for FA?
2. How is it numbered? On j card or credit card?

So pumped on my first FA
1. The number goes up to 750, but there is also one that's numbered 0 out of 750, hence 751. Print runs will vary depending on how many the suppliers have agreed to give Film Arena. Sometimes it will be considerably bigger (e.g. 2k or more), sometimes smaller (e.g. As Above, So Below was limited to 101).

2. Both on a credit card and a sticker on the full slip.

I can only refer you to my last post in the thread which amply covers the salient points without dragging this out. Et sic factum est . . .

No it is not an odd number, they state 751, but technically it is 750 it is just that they release number 000 so it makes it 751(but they mostly will refer on their website generally as 750) Film arena release many different print runs, the most recurring ones are 500, 750, 1000, 1500 those 4 are the most common from a film arena Collection numbered edition(that is when they use the WWA Steel). (other less often print run has been 100, 300, 350 and 2000).

For the WEA Releases like John Wick, Birdman where they actually make the steelbook the print run will be 3000 or exceed it.

Enjoy your first FullSlip film arena Collection numbered edition ;)

They release lower print run at times depending at how many WWA steel they are able to secure,

most of the time it plays between 500 to 1500 when they are using the WWA Steelbook.

@urbeenjammin you're a few hours late to the party :p
That was posted already over 4 hours ago, plus is in the OP.

Thx all but yeah I referring to the low print run ;) so is the wait time for this much like Blufans?
Film Arena's releases are often delayed a bit from their originally intended release dates (e.g. a week or two) if that's what you mean.

Do you mean between the announcement and actual release date? Because this has September 9th as the release day, which is just about a month and a half away. Not too long of a wait. Although, recently FilmArena has been pushing back their release dates as it gets nearer.

its cause they are announcing and releasing so much stuff. blufans has released 1 steelbook (yes it was WEA) in the time film arena have released about 5 lol

I think you're right. 'Cause now we've seen both the FA and HDz, I think the FA is a clear winner. Better slip design, that as has been said elsewhere flows front to back, better lenticular design, and it's magnetic, plus its' a more complete package overall, with what is becoming typical FA attention to detail.

I can only reitterate what I've said before, I firmly believe only Nova can now live with FA in the general run of releases, Kimchi on a good day can, and PA just don't do enough titles to get in this game.

But I do believe HDz and Blufans are getting left behind.
