not exactly a fan of filmarena releases, but the full slip looks pretty cool (lenti on the other hand looks pretty pathetic)... might go for this once price drops to a more reasonable level (±80€)..

I finally opened my copy and I have to say I am really pleased with it. It is Sooooo Beautiful !!! Everything inside is just so nice and Classy, they did a wonderful job giving the proper makeover treatment for this release.

In regards to the Magnet Lenticular I am quite Happy with it, I noticed 2 scuff marks/spots but they are very faint and not big, I probably would not have given it second thoughts if it weren't mentioned previously about the issue, so of course as soon as I opened it I went to look straight away at the lenti(although there was no scuffs marks whatsoever on Mockingjay and Kingsman they were absolute Perfection/OCD). Even though it is not a flip flop lenti which I love from FA and the Lenti has no real depth, it is still a nice addition as a nice picture over the steelbook giving it a different look if we desire. The Steel itself is one of the best of the year, but with the Lenti on it, it is nice change...

Just sent Film Arena this email. I know it will fall on deaf ears but like you say, if we all do it they may take some action?

Hi there

I purchased this item through Karel Lenc's group buy on Hi Def Ninja and unfortunately the lenticular magnet is in terrible condition - covered in deep scratches. I know from reading the forum that I'm not the only customer who has experienced this problem.

I - and my fellow collectors - would be very grateful if you could find it within you to produce another print run of this lenticular magnet to replace the damaged ones. I would be happy to cover the additional postage costs, or it could be included with future Film Arena packages.

This item is a premium release and expensive and your company has created a lot of goodwill with your steelbook packages, but this incident may make me think twice before placing another order with you in the future if the quality starts to decrease.

Many thanks, love and kisses, etc

The more messages they receive, the more they will hopefully realise the substandard quality regarding this release and their arrogant, dismissive response given to people are both unacceptable.
Good on you, mate!!

Can't believe I am #1 on the reserve list (#300 out of 299 spots :() and I still cannot get this from the GB.

I absolutely thought I had this reserved. Was just waiting for this invoice all this time.

It's really a shame. I missed the GB, but got one directly from Filmarena which sold out in seconds. I knew it would be another fast one, so I did practise in advance to make the purchase. Many may think the one who types fastest will get one, but the secret is not to type at all.

There's always other routes to get a copy than GB or Filmarena pre-order. By getting connected to the right people, may help to get what you want.

@leelee17 @MrBMT @dan8885, got the same BS response as you guys. I've sent the following reply. Won't do much but at least I got to let off some steam....

Dear Team FA

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately this is very disappointing.

If you want to be taken seriously as a company that produces high quality collectible items then it may be wise to follow the example of your competitors - HDZeta, KimchiDVD, etc - and ensure that your customers, collectors like me who spend their hard earned money on premium packages for films we usually already own - always get their products in the best condition possible.

While it is not always possible to ensure flawless quality, the terrible state of the lenticular magnet on this release was embarrassing - I may as well throw it away. I frankly don't care what your stated reason for the damage is (and every other lenticular magnet seems to have avoided this damage) - it is obvious that this was a faulty batch. I doubt very much that producing another batch to replace the damaged ones would be too expensive, certainly less expensive for you than the loss of a number of previously loyal customers.

Thank you for your understanding.
