Watched it 4-5 times by now. Love it. One of my three must-have flicks from 2015 (other two being The Revenant and Bone Tomahawk -- would love premium edition of that one ).

Ex_Machina; never quite liked the image on the front of the steelbook (the white one), even though embossing was great.

Not 1 bit bummed about no UHD. I like the cost down to where its at and not $15+ more for something that I have not need for. As mentioned the 4k disk is pretty damn cheap. As low as $10 here in the states so it would be cheaper to buy local and replace the disk if it means that much to you

For me I don’t mind no 4K discs as I usually buy the 4K amaray straight away when it comes out in the states. So I just usually plop that disc into the premium releases and then sell my amaray with the Bluray.

goddammit, have the opportunity to ponder before choosing, which is a nice change, but cannot decide between the great fullslip A image and its holofoil alert , or the lovely PET slip . the PET fullslip is a littel bit samey to things we've seen before, and if the fullslip had said 'spot holofoil' rather than full holofoil...

i think this is a great package, with all the options looking good. not OCing this, so any chance we can see any beauty shots? yeah, i know, it's too soon - but the GB is up the same day as the announcement, so you never know!

Don't hold the full holofoil initial info to heart, upon printing the effect will be evaluated and a decision will be made to either go with spot holofoil or full holofoil.

After three years of reading threads in this forum and others (mostly this one ), it seems to me like the vast majority of premium collectors at best dislike--and often outright despise--full holofoil. I very rarely see anyone say "Yay, full holofoil!" So I really don't get why any of these companies still use it. If they have to use holofoil, they should just stick to spot treatments. It seems like most people are at least okay with that--I love spot holofoil when it's used well.

I genuinely don’t mind holofoil and mantas man of steel which is one of the best full holofoil slips I’ve ever seen was my first. But manta use it far too much (like nova did) and yeah also much prefer spot holofoil.

Love it on the white nova NC age of Ultron full slip for example

Yeah, Manta and Nova are the two main culprits, although Kimchi/Weet was giving them a run for their money for a while--I think all the slips for Winter Soldier were full holofoil, even the back of the lenti. I'm not crazy about Manta's Man of Steel, but I'm with you on Nova's Ultron slips--I really liked the full holofoil on those. But that may be because it was still fairly novel and hadn't been done to death yet.

Edit: I was thinking of the full holofoil on Nova's slips for the first Avengers movie. But yeah, the spot holofoil on Ultron was awesome. Perfect example of how to use it.

Forgot about kimchi’s winter soldier. Really like the back of the FS with black widow. Holofoil is decent on that.
Think their it follows full slip was holofoil too.

They use it subtlety on the villain on the back of the incredibles lenti and that’s cool
