What I like is now as customers we can order HMV exclusives online and this looks as if they are now making available pre order exclusives

Previously you could not be sure if your local HMV/Xtra-vision shop got stock and was hit and miss if they did so its very helpful for all both in UK and Ireland we now have an online option for ordering HMV exclusives

As long as all future HMV exclusives are available to pre order online we all gain in be it your in the UK or Ireland

I will find out at a later stage if they plan to offer international shipping but for now its at least a lot better than before for UK/Ireland customers

Ireland Xtra-vision is a bit sneaky...Ordered two releases so the total came over 25 Euros BUT they separated the orders and slapped a 2 Euro shipping charge on one

They should really not off done that with your order I would contact them as they state on their website the following

Why has my order been split into two or more individual order numbers?
Should you buy more than one item within the same order it is possible that the products will be dispatched from 2 different warehouses. If this is the case your order will automatically split into different order numbers.

Please note: All additional postage and packing is free regardless of where your order is dispatched from.



UK Customers be probably better off using the UK Site to avoid any shipping costs if your order is less than €25.00 Euro as its free shipping on order over £9.99 with UK site



Its also possible by the way for Rep of Ireland Customers to use the UK site instead of Ireland site
Depends on the exchange rate though but with shipping free over £9.99 might be a better option

Max number of items in an order is 20 units
If for some reason you wanted to order more than 20 units you would have to create another separate order

Why are your release dates different to other websites?
As an Irish company, Xtra-vision often gets many releases ahead of UK based websites like Amazon. We reflect the Irish release date for all movie releases and aim to deliver for this release, posted out of Ireland.

What this means
As Friday is the release date in Ireland that's when Pre-orders will be shipped so they are delivered by the Irish release date in most cases
The UK its a Monday so Customers may get delivery before UK customers do from UK Shops

Did you try the Irish site? It may not be working on the UK site (I haven't tried it)
