Don't really like these three columns... Pass for me. I really like the movie for nostalgia reasons, but I have to be firm on design choices now that Steelbooks are popping up like mushrooms and I'm not a millionaire yet.

The font could be better but it is not bad. They definitely need to move the Disney Logo down a bit closer to the title though. They should go with this font but in a reflective beveled gold like what they are now using.

They just re-used prior amaray art. Lazy is as lazy does.

the rear artwor really needed to have been the front. So much better than lazy recycled ameray artwork that wasn't too great to begin with.
The US double movie pack's cover is stunning by comparison, especially with the slipcase effect that online pictures do no do jusitice

Fantasis Double Movie Pack

There's part of me that could be tempted as it's Disney if it ended up on a similar offer to Jungle Book down the line. If JBook is still available and now under offer I will be absolutely stunned if Fantasia ever goes OOS. Can't imagine it's anywhere near as popular as JBook.

The difference is that with Jungle Book, they over produced and made what is thought to be 10,000 copies. This is limited to 4-5k and will sell out

this steelbook had so much potential. instead we get uninspired art copy and pasted straight from the standard release.

i will still buy simply because fantasia is a classic, but the art is disappointing

This Steelbook has to be hyper glossy like "Aladdin". I especially loved the dark vibrant blue all over it. What I find a little lazy - just like with "Dumbo" - is the simple duplication of a front motive on the back. It's nice, to have Mickey everywhere on the Steel (even inside), but "Fantasia" is more than just "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", even though I understand, that this is the iconic moment everybody knows when remembering the whole movie. But still, this movie is about art and music. There are so many possibilities to be brave enough and just go with some more art, at least on the back. Like fairies or Chernabog. Now that would have been something fresh and inventive.
