Hello everyone! We hope everyone is having a great summer! We are very sorry for posting the update later than what we promised! It means we are working hard on production so we hope our customers can understand

. `We have a lot of good news for this update so please read below for more information

1. EX_MACHINA
All materials have arrived to the packing facility and we are packing them at the moment. We hope to ship out everything on time. Thank you very much.

2. Ready Player One
Pre-order is tomorrow at 8PM, August 3rd, 2018! We thank everyone for coming to our pre-order.

3. The Greatest Showman
Pre-order will be in August and we are scheduling the pre-order at the moment. This release includes something we have never made before and we hope it will come out as our expectation.

4. The Shape of Water
Pre-order will be in September. We have finished all designs and we are currently producing the materials so packshots will be updated soon.

5. Deadpool 2
We are currently working on the Exclusive Steelbook for the Deadpool 2 and we hope to release another amazing release like the first one! More info will be updated after approval.

6. Forgotten releases....

*Kingsman 2*
- Approvals have been quite difficult with this release because our entire designs have been rejected few times. We are working on this again but the release is going to be delayed until later this year.

*Dunkirk*
- There's a good news about this release because we were having problem with the approval from the director but we've heard that the approval process is moving again. We hope to post good news about this release.

*Alien Series*
- TBA, we are working with one of the best illustrators in the industry for our package and hope there's more news on this within this year.

*Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them*
- 50% of production has been finished and we are planning to release it in around October.

*BladeRunner 2049*
- Again... we are rejected with few ideas so we are starting over with the designs. We hope to release this by end of this year.

7. Steelbook Production and feedback
As our customers know that we've been switching back and forth with the steelbook production for our products and we thank everyone for the honest feedback. In our opinion, we are having difficult time deciding which production we want to use for our products because different factories have different pros and cons. Traditionally, we've been using super glossy steelbooks for our products but the problem we've faced was that the super glossy steelbooks have softer coating and it's more vulnerable than the hard coating. Regardless of the production we use, we will continue to QC our product to send out the best products for our customers.

Woohoo this is fantastic news as I’ve been waiting for this one to advance on numerous occasions since Feb. I even contemplated getting the Blufans edition but looking at this update I’m glad I persevered and waited it out.

I thought from the April Statement they said all production was moved to Denmark.
Now they mention going back and forth from Denmark and China ?

I can no longer handle the stress of manta lab releases manufactured in Scanavo China.
They all look like Scratch Pads ! And I am tired of asking for replacements.

Happy that RP1 was manufactured in Denmark, but from now on before purchasing I will make sure they were made in Denmark.
If Scanavo China, I will pass on the release no matter what it will be.

That's the thing, I had read that before today @Actarus , I don't remember where but I remember reading something like that. Just a thought but maybe they will test the China factory once a year to check if the QC is better?

They will have to implement a more vigorous Quality Control for each Release. Once a year would not be enough.

I remember with the Wonder Woman issue, it was horrible the amount of scratched steelbooks.
Scanavo had replied to manta that they found there was no issue, and those Steelbooks were ''Acceptable''

I don't know how they will go for Quality Control on Future Releases, but I have little faith

How could they be acceptable when it doesn't happen in their own factory in Denmark?
What is it about the products applied in the China factory that make them different to the Denmark one? It seems odd that they use a softer compound in China than elsewhere. If there is a difference it would make more sense that the difference is in labour.

There has been issue with Denmark as well, but not comparable to China.
Product handling is definitely an issue, other than that I really didn't go much in detail with manta.
John told me though that the varnish is harder in Denmark than China.

Some say that you can get a more shiny Steel in China, but FAC with their WEA are pretty shiny to me.
In any case, if they implement a better Quality Control I would not mind,
as long as when I order I have faith that I am purchasing a product which is up to par on a collectible level.

I don't want to worry that if I decide to open my edition in X months, that I will have an unfortunate surprise

I have a feeling that like Manta's Ready Player One, this Steelbook will feature the same front and rear artwork as the standard UHD release.

I wouldn't be against this at all considering it'd look nice alongside the new boxset of Harry Potter UHD Steelbooks coming next month.

Hmmm, you might be right. I'd really be more partial to something that features all the main characters though, wish we could get something like that.
