If they're going to go with something like this, they should've just reused the cover to the US version of the remaster. Although I think they should release an actual knitted cover with that design.

when steels get released these days we should just expect bad artwork as it mostly turns out like that anyway, too many great movies are getting poor treatment

Don't mean to be too negative, but the more I look at it the more I cringe. I don't usually judge Steelbook designs until I see them in hand. But in this case I feel the need to say the art designer should be shot.

Seriously, who signs off on this rubbish? I know it appears (very briefly) in the film, but it just looks like a giant 'gnome' on the front and then they try to add the patchwork style font/artwork without making it patchworky! Which was the whole point to begin with. It looks embarrassing to say the least. Could they not have used any other image from the many possibilities on offer?

I'm so disappointed as this is one of my all time favourite movies with (IMO) the all time worst art design

After seeing this, I would've jumped at the boring original Blu Ray/DVD cover art.
