I read that the extended version is only 1 minute difference.

Also, with amazon.fr, you get a 50/50 chance of getting a steelbook or amaray case...depending the person grabbing your order. Unfortunately, we are not able to choose.

I've seen it in store and I'm 99% sure it was G2 — Warner France is the only one producing G1-sized steelbooks in France, and Fast Five is from Universal. I'm picturing it now, it was the same size as the Battleship steelbook sitting next to it, and that one was G2 as well if I'm correct .

Universal never released any G1 steelbook for Bluray in France.
This one is a G2 release and can be found in every store between 6,99 € to 14,99 €

Is it just me but 2 times now I have ordered steelbooks from FNAC and both times the steelbooks arrived with a big dent in both. sent with no protection, I will not buy from them again .

It's not online but in some Espace Culturel of Leclerc and Intermarché in France.
