Maybe because they want to PISS us off so we import and when we finally do they will be like well screw it ill buy the US edition as well...

Which is exactly what I did I ordered the UK regular BD when the price dropped on Amz UK. SO it will be here sometime next week hopefully. May just keep this steel sealed if its ever released.

From the looks of it, this is definitely not a studio issue since they have this already available in other countries. My guess is one or two of the retailers are causing the hold-up of the release date. Just my guess...

Good thing is, it's been sold through Amazon also, but bad thing is, from my experience order one steelbook from them, it always came in the jiffy bag... so now I need to order 2

OK maybe it is only obvious to me but it is clear from the new artwork posted on Walmart.com that the "delay" of this release in the US/CA is due to the Extended Edition. This might be the first and only FF6 release with the Extended cut?

Amazon updated the art to match Wal Mart. Used a $5 promo code too when I ordered, so $21.49 a copy shipped. I'll take it. Just wish it was coming sooner!
