When I tried to ship to store on day of release, out of 20 stores listed, the only one I go to had no stock. I called the store and they had 4 copies. I had them hold 2 copies for me. When I got there the other 2 were gone. But I got mine. I will do the same thing for Green Lantern
Yeah, this. Even though a lot of us aren't fond of G1 Steelbooks, as long as they sell out or come close to it, they almost have no reason to go to the more expensive route of releasing G2 copies. It's really unfortunate.
That's fishy....sounds like a manager trying to hold them for himself or something.
Sometimes confusion with these "Limited Eds" at retailers is common. If each store only got x copies, it's possible this is how the sale is getting handled,to help with the fact that some people may take every copy of the few, on the shelf,walk to cashier and walk out (which has happened many times before). If you're in the US,you can always order online and send it to yourself. Packing is not the greatest, but exchanges/refunds are not generally difficult, especially not if you have a BB near you. Yeah, like I said, when I went to
there were only about 10 on the shelf. I nabbed 3 copies (2 for trade), and now it looks like it's soldout at my nearest 10 stores (except for 1)- the storefinder on-line has it listed out of stock. But you can still order it online. This is also why I'm not worried about picking up the Green Lantern BB version....I'm sure I'll be able to get it the first day or 2 it comes out. 
I usually order On-line then pick-up that way I can inspect it at the counter for defects and make sure I get good copies.
Yeah, towards the top. I'm pretty sure that's the adhesive gel they use the attached the cardboard sleeve backer with the info.
Yeah that's the glue, I was a little weirded out when I first got it, too! I just took it off when I opened the movie.
Weird question but does anyone have an extra digital copy disc for this movie? I don't need the code, I've got that but I need the physical DVD, PM me please, thanks.
Yes it does come with a physical DVD but it also have a code on a pamphlet for a digital copy.
