The best steelbook for me has to be the Evil Dead (1981) release. It's heads and shoulders the best steelbook of the year so far.

In no particular order... (so far, of course )

Kimchi (Plain Archive) Rush Full Slip - Best full slip ever. Awesome exterior art. Nice extras.
Kimchi Leon Full Slip - Unique clear slip over full. Excellent artwork choices and quality package all around.
Kimchi Perfume Lenticular - odd movie, but gorgeous steelbook package inside and out. Fantastic lenticular slip front and back.
Kimchi The Pianist Full Slip - an amazing package done right. High quality full slip.
Kimchi Amelie Type B - Gorgeous steelbook package inside and out. Fantastic lenticular slip front and back. (has iridescent sheen like Perfume)
Blufans Monsters University Lenticular - Great lenticular. Super high gloss white steelbook makes it unique.
Blufans Frozen UE (I think it's ok to put this one since actual pics have surfaced now and it's looks awesome)
HMV Ender's Game - Excellent debossing front and back. Super high gloss.

So far top winner for me is a dead even tie between Kimchi Rush Full and Kimchi Leon Full. You've have to pry those 2 steels from my cold dead hands.

Going solely by the steelbook design, not the contents (which may or may not be amazing), my top 5 would be...

1) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Zavvi exclusive
2) Day of the Dead - Zavvi exclusive
3) Brazil - UK edition
4) Howard the Duck - German edition
5) Alien - UK edition

My all-time favourite steelbook is still Jaws.
