Well, here be pics! (Cover B).

The mediabook has a sticker with the German rating and other stuff. I usually stick them onto the blank side of the separate tech sheet.

Now the foil has been removed. The mediabook has a flat finish.

The back (a separate tech sheet). By the way, every cover version has a slightly different variation befitting the main motif. Cover B (here) features Duke and Gonzo in the casino. Cover A has the iconic desert shot of them, and Cover D has the same shot stylized as a drawing.

The back without the tech sheet. It wouldn't look like much on its own, except...

...if opened, the panoramic image is revealed. It is definitely a looker.

There are some spot gloss effects: the glasses and the title (both front and spine). Same goes for Cover A.

Now for the inside.

Here both trays. Beautiful motif of desert landscapes with Las Vegas road signs is used throughout.

The booklet (in German) is really really thick.

Here the credits on the image restoration and on the German dub.

The three discs. The movie discs continue the motif of desert landscapes; the Gonzo disc is a separate design, but a visual connection is still established by using a Steadman-esque font.

All in all: a beautiful presentation for a far-out movie.

Ui - that looks great - goodt to see it´s a nice edition. Why did I preorder the Pearl-steel with it:ohno: now I have to wait, but will not be disappointed then - thanks for your detailed pictures:thumbs:

this is a fantastic release, many thanks for the great photos, @megabee:thanks: the cover is great, the artwork and layout superb. although it's all (quite reasonably) in German [shrug]. if it was in English, this would be a by-all-means-necessary purchase for me. i like production notes and booklet-style content, i just don't speak German.
