You're not alone. I returned mine as well.
I just couldn't bring myself to open it, it didn't look as good in hand as in photos so I left it on the side next to my tv for a week, I think. I obviously don't want it because I was able to just leave it there whilst I saw it every day.
I don't want to own something I don't have the desire to open especially because of the £18 price tag which I could be spending on a steelbook I actually really want.

I believe Megabee color corrects his photos (contrast boosting?). So while they look brilliant, they're not an accurate representation of the steelbooks.

+1. It is easy to color correct and make dull Steels look nice.

i like the embossing very much, contrast between dark front and colorful back, and the inside art is great as well.

I believe Megabee color corrects his photos (contrast boosting?). So while they look brilliant, they're not an accurate representation of the steelbooks.

This picture issue is not about color correction. The yellow parts are somewhat reflective metal-type, and the look depends on what color do you have in reflection zone. In that pic you can see some 'ghost' reflection of a hand holding the phone or camera.
I know this and use appropriate background (solid white mainly) for this.

i just hate how it end's though,i hoped somehow he could get his life back on track by seeing that woman and his son, it was so sad to see it end like that!
still. what a class film,it is not for everyone but i would highly recommend and to make it even better the steelbook is a cracker!

the ending is really hard, but totally fits the whole atmosphere of the film i think, and is also on the same level as the book by irvine welsh. same ending in the book. would have been strange to change that into a hollywood happy end.

if you liked the movie, read the BOOK by irvine welsh! its great!
