Hi Def Ninja,
as a kind request, can you please not limit this to such a small amount (1000-ish copies)as there are people, such as me, who can only access Zavvi and Play.com at around 4pm and by the time we'll be on there, they'll be gone.
Thanks

I'd love to see this get a 1000 release. I'm fairly sure it won't though.

I'm sure someone on here would pick one up for you if that were the case?

LOL! HDN do not have that much clout - maybe a chance to choose the cover but not to dictate the amount the studio produces... yet :D

Option 1 for me.

Option 2... really?!? Not seen the film so don't get the reference (besides the obvious connotation). Is this exact image used in the film?

Voted for option #2, because it's amusing and original, and also because I keep thinking that if it gets a sizable amount of votes (like 40% or something), they'll use it as backart and I'd like that :). Obviously, option #1 is the best suited for the front.

But I'm not sure if I will buy this.

Admittedly, the film looks very good, it's getting great reviews, McCoy is a great actor and I  Imogen Poots.

But on the other hand I didn't understand some of what was said in the trailer :emb:. Like the "cheese-grater" line, I had to play it twice to catch that, and I still don't understand what he said before ("what's up"... something). I have no problems with most American films/series, with most British films/series either, but there are some accents in there that I know I won't always be able to easily understand without going back to hear the scene again to be sure, and that kind of ruins the movie experience if a 2-hour film takes you 2h30 to watch.

And chances are, a British film like this will not have any subtitles at all on the Blu-ray, except perhaps English for the Hard of Hearing, which usually get kind of annoying after a while. [typing] So I'm not sure if I will get this. Filth will probably never get a French Blu-ray release, so I won't be able to switch discs.

My guess is, I'll probably do what I did with Withnail and I (which HDN also got to choose the art for, so I see a pattern) : I'll wait for it to drop to £6-8 and then I won't mind the SDH subtitles as much :p.

Anyway, it's nice to see HDN's influence in the steelbook world once again.
