Well, in NYC don't take a cab anywhere. It's too much money for no reason. You can walk the ENTIRE length of Manhattan in no time; but really you'll mostly be sticking to 20 blocks or so (around 42nd Street and time square).

IDK if you can go to the Statue of Liberty or not, last time I was there they weren't allowing people to go over.

Also, whatever you do DON'T eat in time square. It's WAAAAAY more money for no reason. You can go like 2 or 3 blocks off the main street and find better food for half the price.

Central Park is cool, but don't go there at night. If you like buildings and architecture Harlem is awesome! But remember to walk with a purpose, don't look around like you're lost or you MIGHT run into some ass hole. I've, personally, never had any issues in NYC and i've been there for about 3 weeks total and i've been to all 5 boroughs.

I'm not sure about Boston or Philly. I've never been to either.

Philly is a cool place. Especially if you've got a Blu brother to show you around. Thanks TR. While I was there in July, I checked out Independence Hall (Free), the Liberty Bell (Free), had a Philly Cheesesteak from a street vendor and watched him cook it in front of us ($4), went to Triumph Brewery (amazing beers), and went to a free concert in front of the Art Museum.

Elmo, NYC is very cool (I am from tri-state area near NYC). You can grab a fairly cheap sightseeing tour via bus, and walking is the most fun, imho. If you're into museums, visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and try to visit the "Top of the Rock" for amazing skyline views of th city (night time is beautiful). Dancing? Try Webster Hall (NYC), and some others (you can visiit iloveny.com or visitpa.com.

Philly is kind of like a mini-NYC-definitely have the Cheesesteak and visit the US historical sites if you can. If you're into the movie "Rocky", visit the steps by the Philadelphia Art museum, where Rocky ran up-there's a huge statue of him. (Trying to trow in some movie-related stuff. NYC and Philly are both considered very diverse cultural centers, and there is always plenty to do. Street vendors sell newspapers, where you can get a feel for what's going on-these cities pretty much never sleep, especially NYC. Have a good time, and stay safe!:)
