The film is reportedly a real winner at the box office and a hit with critics (95% on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.8/10 on IMDb and 77% on Metacritic) with takings of nearly $800M to date and at present the highest grossing domestic release of 2016 and the third highest grossing animated release of all-time with Disney raking in $5B this year worldwide so far on their films ($2B domestically).

RANK----Movie Title -----Studio------- Total Gross
1 FINDING DORY BV $463,803,528
2 CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR BV $406,841,055
3 DEADPOOL Fox $363,070,709
4 THE JUNGLE BOOK BV $361,844,148
5 ZOOTOPIA BV $341,250,430
6 BATMAN V SUPERMAN WB $330,360,194
7 THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS Universal $274,221,090
8 X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Fox $155,333,829
9 KUNG FU PANDA 3 Fox $143,528,619

The steelbook itself should look fine with some decent choices of poster artwork available BUT of course the single spine thumbnail is a massive disappointment and if there has to be no spine title, for whatever reason, I feel they should at least cover the spine with images of all the main characters (a la ZOOTOPIA and others) and not just the one image like THE LONE RANGER and others.

Truth to tell I'd prefer a spine covered in thumbnail images to a boring old title but that preference ONLY applies to animated features.

Speaking about animated films in steelbooks . . . Why, oh why, no steelbook announced for THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS or THE IRON GIANT ??

I stopped buying these wwa titleless releases back before the Good Dinosaur, that was the final straw for me, the only way to show Disney the no title route is a fail is to vote with our wallets, so Im reserving my funds for a foreign edition which has a title on it. They need to wise up to this stuff quick as it's driving away collectors.

Same here. Stopped earlier though.

I think I might have to pass on this

Did it with Zootopia and now this.

Might start investing in other countries Steelbooks

I think I keep going to preorder these because they are part of the collection but honestly I don't think WWE artworks count as part of their collection with how different they are

I'm checking on ebay for a cheaper Zavvi steelbook until a better version (Nova, Kimchi etc) is released elsewhere.
Cant afford to keep the Zavvi pre-orders as well as the nicer versions, AND I can no longer be bothered with the resale of the Zavvi version on ebay (often end up at a loss, and that loss is growing)

But to avoid missing out completely - just incase/preventative measures - I'll still pre-order my ongoing collections(Disney, Marvel, RE, Tarentino...etc)

I actually like the design and hope it sits ok alongside the first movie so have stuck in my pre-order. I do enjoy looking and collecting at other worldwide steelbooks, but in all honesty, I'm getting a bit sick of the price hikes. They all have their own little special touches, but one thing they do have in common is the price. Sometimes I try to justify pre-ordering/buying, but then feel really stupid when I've paid an extra £20 + for a slip cover and some cards that I'll never look at. If I know there will be a re-watch value in the movie then I'll get the steelbook, but in all honesty, this hobby is bleeding me dry with the enormous price which, some are now getting on for £50 + in some cases. Is it worth it, I'm not so sure now, especially with so many different variations... I may have to end up going for the cheapest, or quitting for good.
