I hate sport movies especially football, so easy pass
let me guess they have a speech in it, everyone in the locker rooms sitting down and the coach gives a speech?

EDIT: I take that back I like Dodgeball! :shipped:
catching ben stiller GIF
Me too, but Any Given Sunday is like one of the best, coolest, most powerful films ever, definitely the best in that genre.

Never seen Friday Night Lights, just heard there's like a gazillion TV episodes of it, or something...

Never heard of that one before, but is there a speech in it?
Where the coach stands and all the players sit down in the locker room and he gives them a speech, just like all other football movies?

TV show was a remake of this film. Movie came first.
If you liked Any Given Sunday (which is f'in awesome) you'd like this.

The TV show is also phenomenal. Like, really good. It's less about American Football and more about life in a ****** rural US town that has not much going for it but High school football. It's about the people.
Highly recommend the TV series too.

Whaaat!?
I could write a 100 epithets of how great it is at portraying everything - the chaos and pressure of the games, the behind the scenes politics, the rise of popularity, the fall from fame, the physical injuries and their long-term effects, or the mind blowing cast...
Yes, there's such a speech, but it's Al freaking Pacino in an Oliver Stone film!

Check out the trailer:
