Would of loved a steel for this but the art is so bad. Not only have they put adult Jason on the front when he wasn't the main antagonist till part 2, but they've even included part of his hockey mask which he didn't get till part 3.

Yes, when I see this steelbook I'm reminded of the tagline for this film:-
"If you think it means bad luck... you don't know the half of it.. You'll wish it were only a nightmare... They were warned...They are doomed...And on Friday the 13th, nothing will save them. You may only see it once, but that will be enough."

... and also part of the artwork with chain, trees and light looks lifted and tweaked from this ten year old release :-

That is some interesting artwork. I think the title font makes it worse then it could be. Well that and the back. Either way tho, the 1980 tagline, is there otehr steels with horror movies from say 1970, 90, 2000 etc. What are we trying to achieve here.

Although good to finally get a FRIDAY THE 13TH steelbook release in the UK surely this great little film deserves better . . . maybe one day.
