so wait it didnt sell out?
its going back live?
I POed mine already but no cancellation emails.
It went live by mistake on Saturday
Zavvi was not meant to be selling it until Sunday 6th November
It was not sold out

Pre orders done on Saturday are fine your order is OK

Like it has been posted countless times......Zavvi put this up for pre-order too soon. Eureka still haven't officially announced it yet and they would've told Zavvi to take down the listing. It is not sold out

Zavvi have confirmed it'll be back up for pre-order again on Sunday at 6pm and I would imagine it'll be at £19.99

Surely can't / shouldn't be less than 4,000 !?
Hopefully NOT 2,000 like the two other upcoming Eureka steelbooks.
No secret that the recent 30th Anniversary Twilight Time plastic cased edition (their second edition of the film) reportedly sold all 5,000 copies in 48 hours and the 3,000 copies of the original went pretty fast too I believe.

Got to be one of the very best titles/steelbooks for the re-sellers (cult film, lovely steelbook, no release date for the Amaray edition, booklet exclusive to the steelbook etc.) to get their hands on . . . expecting cancellations of multiple orders come release day . . .

For anyone wondering how the two editions compare Extras-wise / or, found in one edition and not in the other.

I'm probably gonna get my head shot off for saying this but I actually prefer the remake! It was well made had a great script Colin Farrell and David Tennant was on top form and the late Anton Yelchin was awesome as the reluctant vampire slayer! I watched the original on Netflix and it was a good way to pass a wet Wednesday afternoon nothing more!

so all of us who pre ordered early at £24 will have to cancel and re order to get it at £17?

i dont trust zavvi to alter the price of my preorder themselves

Just don't ever say anything bad about Keanu Reeves. They don't like that.

I actually really enjoy the remake too. And after watching this the other day for the first time in probably 18ish years I much prefer the Farrell version. Decent remake IMO

But I love the Original poster art for this, it's watchable, you get a book, loads of extras and new transfer, I can handle that at £18 or possibly cheaper

Just don't ever say anything bad about Keanu Reeves. They don't like that.

I agree with you.

I watched both recently and beforehand I wouldn't have even had thought twice that I preferred the original. But after seeing it again after many years along with the remake, I felt it doesn't date as well as I'd remembered. And I thoroughly enjoyed the remake.

I enjoyed BOTH well all 3 Fright Night movies .

I dont mind a reboot when it is from a totally different angle from the 1st one.

Its the all the same but diffrent aproch that drives me nuts . The Hitcher for example Why bother with a reboot .

@PUNISHER

By all means say bad stuff about Keanu where he deserves it . Bram Stokers Dracula for example although I still do like the movie not one of his better turns .

Fright Night I will cave in for this after all The Late Great Roddy Mcdowell is captivating as Peter Vincent . David Tennant did the character Justice . As did Anoton Yelchin gone far too soon .
