I believe the orders placed will be honoured - I hope so anyway - it was mentioned a few posts back. Will probably order again when it goes live properly - ain't missing out on this one!

Fingers crossed that Zavvi makes this steelbook "live" on a sensible day when fewer people are at work (i.e. on a Saturday or on a Sunday) - NOT like the "IT" steelbook - and at a sensible time (i.e. usual time of 6PM U.K. time which is not too inconvenient for the U.S. collector for example) ) as it's likely we'll have a repeat of THE BURNING with this one.

Not over the moon that this is a Zavvi exclusive and wondering how sensible it would be to limit this steelbook to 2,000 pieces (like the other two steelbooks Eureka announced at the same - DR. CALIGARI and METROPOLIS 2001) and I would consider this steelbook deserves nothing less than a 4,000 print run.
Personally speaking I would prefer this steelbook to be non exclusive and have a print run of 4,000 pieces . . . fewer would just be ludicrous for this title (considering the sell-speed of the most recent 2015 30th Anniversary edition Twilight Time U.S. editions - 5,000 in 2 days - and those came in bog standard blue plastic cases).

Fingers crossed also that the live price is reduced to GBP 19.99 as I'm more than a little concerned that the old Zavvi tactic of "testing the water" ("My finger slipped, guv" - yes, I believe you . . . LOL) - this time with a high priced 25 quid steelbook - and finding massive interest even at that high price - could result in the "live" price not changing and remaining at 25 quid ?! (Yikes)

Nice! the familiar poster artwork for the front, would have like other artwork on the inside, hopefully has nice back artwork too, this is a must buy for me and likely it will sell well. I already have the Twilight Time version which sold out twice, the 2nd 30th Anniversary version was the one to get. This is a horror classic and I still enjoy it, I wish this had come out for Halloween would have been a timely release, I never liked the remake and will never buy that. Looks like the disc will have nice extras which is even more reason to get this release.

There are 2 Fright Night 2's though if I'm not mistaken. The 80's one and a remake. I'm guessing you saw the 2013 one and not the original.

No unless they dug up Roddy McDowal for the remake it was most certainly the original sequel!

Pre order's up  and i am getting excited roll on sunday, oh happy days :D

Chunk i have asked my brother for the comic and he will look for it.

Cool.. you'll have to show me pics:thumbs:

Hope the price drops when it goes live.. if not I'll definitely be keeping my order anyway:cigar:

zavvi testing the water to see if the fish would bite at £25 a piece, im guessing zavvi won,
what should be no more than £15 will now cost consumers £25,
And you know what? I don't care.... I just had to get it. Better than being the one that missed out on this release ;)
