This is not a release you can wait it out for a price drop as it will end up sold out lot quicker than some might expect

Thrilled to see this getting a steel! A classic for sure. I'm beyond even hoping for a gloss finish that will bring out all the blues and blacks of the stunning artwork from the movie poster. Sigh, another one that will surely be lacklustre Matt.

I hope the sequel gets a steel release too, there is a hi def transfer out there, and some territories have it on blu ray, but not the uk or the states.

Would love to see other similar horror classics of the era get a steel too (Vamp, Waxwork, the Blob, Tourist Trap, Phantasms, Nightmare on Elm streets, critters etc).

Can't believe i missed this (for now) one of my all time favorite films, met Chris Sarandon at london film and comic con really nice bloke signed my Fright Night blu-ray with the phrase "welcome to fright night....for real". Price on this dosen't worry me it could be 39.99 i will still have this in my life. OMG so happy i think i peed myself not to much info was there sorry

I remember seeing this in 1985 and loving it. Watched it a few weeks ago and found it great fun again. One of those 80's movies that stands the test of time. Will keep an eye on eBay for this.

I was the same, but watched it a few months ago and thought it hadn't dated very well. Not as good as I'd remembered. Very 80's cheesy aswell

It's on Film4 for Halloween actually....
