I'm not sure what it means, because using a higher bitrate mean you can use more fps and thus reduce compression.
Tighter compression actually sounds like the reverse; but with a 4k restoration that would be ludicrous!

Which is why I said poor choice of words. We had gone past those HD-DVD days where Studios like Warner bit starved most of their releases with most of them looking awful in big screen.

Note the review copies where screeners copies not retail copies and might have had region lock removed for reviewers to play the discs
The only way to confirm 100% if Region Free is when retail copies arrive with customers

Paul, thank you! I understand that the disc in hands is fundamental to finally relax even so, I have my fingers crossed here that it is indeed Region Free!
Your post cheered me up!
Thanks for sharing the info!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Plus remember there is that strike for Monday by the Post Office and if that goes ahead that'll slow things down.
It's only a small number of crown postal offices that are affected 3% of them
Royal Mail are not going on strike

Postal collection and delivery is by Royal Mail and other Postal Couriers
Delivery of mail not affected and will be as normal
Post Office staff are a different company

Would have been amazed if it had have been region locked considering none had done that.
It's more surprising it's not region locked as a lot of Eureka releases have been

The screener review copies are region free so I expect the retail copies should be the same

Eureka have only had small number of releases region free around 3-4 releases the rest of their releases are region locked
Some of these where region free in other countries releases but Eureka was region locked

Hi guys,
I know this is not the right topic, but did somebody ever bought from cult screenings ? I ordered de fright night documentary on december 1st. There is just a paypal link on their page. No order confirmation, no shipping confirmation, actually nothing at all. I mailed them twice, no answer (tommorow will be 7 days since my first mail) told them that if i get no reaction by tommorow i will fill a paypal complaint

Thx
Jocelin

All orders have been shipped 1,300 of them
Cut Screenings is only a 3 man operation all parcels was by hand brought to post office on 2 Dec.
Post office then process the mail to be handed over to royal mail this was done between 2 Dec to 10th Dec
It's Christmas time post takes longer at this time of the year

They don't send confirmation email or shipped emails you will get your order delivered
Your PayPal payment is your order confirmation
You need to wait 15 working days (Mon-Fri) after the 2 Dec before you contact them and been Christmas add a extra week

Post a Christmas time can take extra 2-3 weeks the delay is due to royal mail and each local royal mail sorting office having lot of post to process and if international address it will take longer

Lot of the parcels was sent from the post office to Royal Mail on the 10th Dec
It's only been so far 5 working days that have passed since post office handed most over the parcels to Royal Mail only a few got sent on the 2 Dec by Royal Mail

You need to wait 2-3 weeks 15 working days ( 3 weeks = 15 working days as in 3 x 5 days)

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation Paul !
Much appreciated. I will wait and hope for a safe delivery.
Yet i would like to add that no matter if you are a small or a big company, when a customer request feedback or order status, no answer is no option.

They use Facebook to answer customers questions this is how they promote the release and post the link to purchase the release.

They sent out this email the other day to all customers who ordered it might have gone to your spam email
YOU'RE SO COOL, BREWSTER! IS SHIPPING
UPDATE: All sets were sent to Royal Mail on 2 Dec and they have been working through the 1300 orders since then - they have been slower than we would have liked, however, despite the busy Xmas season they are now prioritising our orders.

I've just come from there and they only have 6 bags left out of 26 and have assured me they will be processed in the next few days.

Delivery depends on location. UK is normally 2-3 days, Europe 3-6 and USA/Intl 5-9 days. As we are a 3-man operation we don't supply tracking as we wouldn't be able to keep track (excuse the pun) on all the individual tracking. However, to ensure you get your set we have the post office record every so we can claim if any issues. If your disc hasn't arrived after 15 days of dispatch we can it up and ensure you get it so please do not worry about that.

People are already getting theirs and are LOVING it... we are very proud and want to THANK you all for your support and patience.

Sincere apologies again!
