Looks like the review copies might have been region free but these retail copies are region B locked (states it twice on the back packaging).

Just because the case says it's B doesn't mean to say it's not gonna be region free :) Mine should be here tomorrow and I'll happily test it for you if nobody hasn't done it by then

I know that.

But the fact it states it TWICE (also under the disc info) makes me unsure. I've not seen that before.

It's not a problem for me personally though as I have both region A and B players.

Don't know why it should be any different . . . and I imagine as many so-called region "B" discs play in region "A" players as region "A" discs play in region "B" players . . . as for example do all of the U.S. region "A" discs (as printed on the backs of the cases) that I buy on Amazon UK market place play just fine in my U.K. region "B" player.

Furthermore, according to the site mentioned in my post above, ALL Blu-ray versions of FRIGHT NIGHT are REGION FREE and until I read differently and see the dreaded "Region B locked" for FRIGHT NIGHT on the site I use for reference then I'll believe this disc is region free.

Not sure about cancellations imo I really do not think Zavvi would sit around cancelling bulk orders they are there to make money and not friends
Not trying to get anyones back up as I would love to snag one but just doubtful thats all guys
Zavvi cancel bulk orders regularly (more than 5 in a order and especially large bulk orders) that is why you see sold out releases come back in stock
Zavvi do this a lot with high demand releases

Someone ordering with multiples accounts with different address and different credit cards avoid their orders getting cancelled

i read in a comment in some facebook group by a german member that he/she had more than 10 copies shipped, all ordered from the same account, in orders of 2 maximum each. so if it's THAT easy to avoid cancellations i am not surprised this sold out as fast as it did.

Actually, i wonder if they cancelled ANY order...

What's there facebook ID:p
There are lot's of ways scalpers get around orders getting cancelled Zavvi did in the past go after this type or ordering but mostly it's large bulk order more than 5 as it's easier to spot when payment is starting to be processed as it's one large payment
If they had of ordered all 10 in one order that would have possibly got cancelled

Scalpers I do not like any of them unless they are selling at cost price

Some disappointing news guys,

The back of the steelbook is blank. I wondered why we weren't shown it before now. :(

This is confirmed from someone who has it in hand.
