If there one day to be a FRIGHT NIGHT 2 steelbook then hopefully they'lll use this original poster design for the front cover (for obvious reasons):-

This, so much this! I really hope they release the sequel also and use this exact artwork!

is this really being released on boxing day?

Hopefully not I think we could all wait at least an extra week and knock a little off the top of the christmas bills right?

Plus unless the post them early... pretty certain Royal Mail never operate on Boxing Day?

Can't see it happening. Very poorly received film by the fans Don't see many takers.
Fright Night Part 2 has a big following and is why the USA Blu-ray bootlegs and German Mediabook sold well
Problem for a UK release is distribution rights issues

I would love Arrow Video to get the rights for Fright Night Part 2 as you would get a brilliant release if they can sort out the rights

It should been known the release date when Eureka announce the amaray release on Tuesday Nov 22 on Facebook
I expect the release date of December 26th to be changed to some time in January or February

It's got a cult following, and judging by the first films quantity in steel form, we're only talking a few thousand units, I'm sure they'd shift that no trouble.

Besides, have you seen some of the tatt that gets given a steelbook?!

Just because something has a cult following doesn't actually mean it's any good. I've seen Fright Night 2 in both the cinema and on TV and to be honest it's dire. A lot of the time I can understand why a film has a cult following even if I don't like it. But this one defies me. It stinks from the 1st frame to the last. It's appeal is totally lost on me.
And yes I have seen some of the tatt that gets steelbook releases and others screaming for steelbooks that don't get it. But I personally would not put this film in the "Must be a steelbook" category.

I agree with you mostly. I suppose you could say that no film deserves a steelbook. There's no real reason for steelbooks to exist at all, but I digress.

Sure, FN2 is a mess of a movie, but an open and frank documentary, and some amazing special features could really enhance it as a package. I'd buy it if that was the case (assuming I get the first one which I missed out on). Sure, it still wouldn't be high on my list of wants otherwise, but if limited to 1000 I'd be trying to secure a copy.

I thought Fright Night 2 was fun. The first obviously better but the idea was cool. If Arrow get their hands on it and release a steel, i'll certainly add it to the collection.

To be fair when I went to see Fright Night 2, I was expecting a similarly superb film and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Kind of like the difference between ID and ID2. It really was a W.T.F? reaction with me when I came out of the cinema.I felt I'd been cheated of my £1.50.
