It's a Zavvi estimated release date
I would not be surprised if they Charge Debit Cards on the 28th/29th that's when Zavvi staff are back to work as they are closed on 25th/26th/27th and is also when banks reopen for business on the 29th

It's also possible another release date change
Eureka staff are on Xmas holidays from today and Eureka posted on Facebook online orders from Eureka website won't be shipped until Jan 3rd

Large bulk orders will get cancelled as they start to process to debit cards

They will then after release date make available again on the website the cancelled orders

Don't be surprised if they reduce or cancel orders with more than 2 copies in a order

Postman only went back to work today and no post deliveries on this Saturday/SundayMonday
There has been no processing of post on 24/25/26/27 by royal mail so yes there will be a backlog of post to process
