I have been looking into this as I am not entirely sure myself. I have read that there is a cut version of the film, where the scene before the opening credits has been removed and some of the graphic violence has been removed and a couple of extra scenes have been put in.

I am in the process of finding out which version we are selling. It is possible that it is the cut version but is is also possible that this is an error on our behalf. I will chase this for you and send you another message when I have the full picture.

Why is this stil going on? It will be the uncut version as outlined above, unless StudioCanal decide to cut the existing version and resubmit it for classification. For some reason I don't think that's likely

germany cant openly sell the uncut releases because of there rating system its too stop children getting hold of them unless its one of those adult only movie websites that deal with horror films etc. Im very well versed in this as i had a nightmare tracking down the hellraiser mediabooks and the first website i came too was a german website and you had to prove your age by sending a photocopy of your passport/birth certificate even alot of german ebay sellers will ask for this

u.s version is 108 minutes,uk version on amazon states 104 minutes and this is 94-i hope this is a typo but am not really fussed either way....will be keeping my us collectors dvd to watch as I know its uncut

I have the current UK amaray release and that is 108 minutes. This steelbook will have exactly the same disc, so that confirms this version will be uncut!

Thanks apsmith21! I didn't rush to put an order in, didn't think it would sell so quick.
Think it's the first time I've pre-ordered a steelbook from Zavvi without using some sort of code.

Which makes a nice change from ordering 4 or 5 every time!
