Yes it's obvious for us to identify the film, but it defeats the object of collecting in my opinion. My mother wouldn't know what the film was without looking at the disc! ;)

Seems flat-out lazy, all my other Disney steelbooks have the titles on them and recently Disney changed j-cards which take up a quarter of the spine, it seems they're trying to make this set as inconsistent as possible. I don't think I'm asking for too much. I hate to moan all the time, but one would think those debunking the negativity of the simplicity of adding a title on the spine work for Zavvi!

More about money than being lazy. It was mentioned earlier here that they did not use any print most likely so they could use the same steel for releases in other countries. They just have to swap the j-card. I guess Disney is a little short on cash of late.

I don't understand why some think that wanting the title on the front is for practical reasons. For me that is a secondary factor, I wouldn't own a bunch of Steelbooks with foreign titles if it was a major concern. It is purely about aesthetics, I think Steelbooks simply look better with titles.

In this instance, not only would it look better with a title, but it seems that the artwork was even designed to include a title. The title would have fitted nicely on the bottom of the front cover. I don't understand why Disney have to go title-less, why not just produce slips that cover the title?

Agree with you guys. I've said this before, but it amazes me that Disney approves these newer titleless steels. Especially since Disney is all about their branding.

Whatever the actual reason(s) for not showing the title, it just makes for an unfinished looking product.

Having the film's title on a product isn't hand holding, it's common sense. But if you feel otherwise and want a shelf full of empty space and thumbnail pics then that's fine aswell, just that this seems so ridiculous that I have nothing further to say on it.

As its been mentioned apart from having no title on the spine, I think is a very nice looking steelbook and on par with the rest of the collection.

Still think it sucks finish wise, but my mother who I bought it for strongly disagrees and loves it!

The 3D is superb, some of the best I've seen. Amazing film!

I cancelled my Zavvi order due to cost benefit issues. I think for roughly the same amount of money there are other options (Kimchi/FNAC) that gives consumers more for the money. To me that just makes sense. But to each their own I guess.

Another dull matte Disney steel. Now they're cutting even more costs by not including the title on the front and spine. Whatever happened to the days of Aladdin? Now that is a beautiful Disney steel. Embossed, glossy, limited, and they even threw in the title - TWICE!

Surely it's a cost cutting measure. As the film was released under different titles in other countries, it must have been easier just to mass produce one version of the steelbook, and later add a title with a slip.

It has been said a million times that it is cost cutting. I'm saying they should add the English title to the Steelbook and simply cover it with the slip with the local title on it. The title as it is on the slipcover here would have fitted perfectly in the same position on the Steelbook, therefore it could have been done.

My copy arrived y'day. The colours seem a tad dark but overall I like it.
Though this is one title that certainly would have benefited from Gloss but the matte finish isn't terrible either.

So far I've got the Zavvi, 2 Hong Kong, 2 Kimchi, FNAC, and will be doing the blufans. Oops
that makes me feel better for having this copy and both kimichi exclusives on order now :)

I only kept this order as I've been gagging to re-watch the movie-didnt want to wait for Kimichi release to view it again, and so the clear slip that comes with the kimichi pre-order has a home when it does arrive :)
