I dig the new artwork a lot TBH. Having a title on it would have made sense (on the spine specifically), but I still like the way it looks. Keeping my order.

I don't mind the front of steelbook not having a title
The problem is the spine also has no title

All Steelbooks need a Title on the Spine
On your Shelf a few then a lot of steelbooks with no title
TOTAL NO WAY

Disney must change this before release all steelbook should have a title on the spine

I will be contacting Disney Tomorrow as we had recent a few Disney releases with no title
If this is not stopped soon it will cause problems

On a brighter note the Artworks looks good but it must have the title on the spine as a minimum standard

This has nothing to do with zavvi. As I said earlier this is Disney trying to squeeze a few more pennies profit from the public by avoiding the extra expense of creating country or region specific design as you can release this anywhere in the world with a local language jcard or slip.
Disney has a long history of exploiting the consumer. Shame on you Disney. :ass::ass:

Art for arts sake NO this is cheap sell the same everywhere without re printing for cheap sake!!!

i think steelbooks have evolved into something more than just a case for a film. its like a piece of art, an object to be admired. people want the steelbook to look nice, and most importantly- different to the standard release. so most steelbooks dont have any text on the back now, and what text there is on the front is minimal. when presented this way, people will pick up and admire a steelbook as an object, nobody does that with a plastic amaray case.

Oh please! This has nothing do with art (it is a Blu-ray not an oil painting) and everything to do with saving money. Zavvi won't be getting my money for this, at least not until it drops below a tenner. If enough people vote with their wallets, then eventually Zavvi will take notice and in turn Disney will take notice and stop releasing these crap designs.

Disney are using those really big slipcover J-cards now, so why can't they produce designs where the title is beneath the J-card? That way, the title is there for everyone who opens their Steelbooks but can be covered when they want to translate the title for other territories.

I hope this is gloss, as I actually like the front and don't give a monkeys about the spine, but if this is gloss with those colors I think it will look ace.

hmmm, a step on the wrong direction.
I will keep my pre-order in, just incase it goes oop before release (although im now confident it wont)
if its still available a week before release then I shall cancel it and wait for in-hand pics.
a spine with no title is worse than a bloody bi-lingual spine, or foreign text.
on the up-side, zavvi have saved me £50 by ruining what could have been 2 excellent steels (with thor 2)
