Looks good and a great price, just a shame there's only French subtitles for the German speaking parts.
Didn't know that; Thanks for the heads up, that might make me reconsider ordering this steelbook- Remember there being few German speaking parts of the film, but would still distract from the actual movie in my mind...

Ahh if it don't have English subs for the foreign speaking parts then I might have to cancel it. Got a bit more time to worry about that tho

Pre-booked but then cancelled-my French isn't fantastic but couldn't see it being listed as 3d anywhere...

the film was recorded 4k but this will not be a 4k release. app 4k discs are not out till end of 2015 according to zerox, has been pointed out earlier but no mod has updated the title at all.

The specifications for this release have yet to be announced.

The listing on FNAC's site is, therefore, unconfirmed and likely to be incorrect, as regards language and sub-title options.

Sony's international Blu-ray releases invariably contain a number of different language soundtracks and sub-titles. Undoubtedly, "Fury" will as well.

Looking at things logically, this release will probably be similar to that of "Captain Phillips", also a Sony title. The French Blu-ray has English, French and German soundtracks and sub-titles. The pirates, however, speak in Somali when talking amongst themselves. When the English soundtrack is selected, those sections where Somali is spoken, automatically display sub-titles in English. Conversely, when the French soundtrack is selected, those sections where Somali is spoken, automatically display sub-titles in French.

There's no reason to assume that the French release of "Fury" will be any different. In which case, when German is spoken, subtitles will be displayed automatically in English or French, depending on which soundtrack has been selected.

So, to all those panicking and considering cancelling their orders ....... don't! I'm confident that this issue will not pose a problem. In any event, this title isn't being released until the end of February and the specifications should be confirmed long before then, giving everyone plenty of time to cancel, should I be proved wrong.

the german speaking bits are hardcoded in the film if you care to look at the fnac specs which are never the most reliable in the world as they orginally listed it as 3d which magically disappeared. shows english track which will have german bits in guess what yes english and they are only listing subs as french.
i'm personally with augustus, i think there will be just 1 disc for whole of europe (my guess) which would be english, french, german and maybe spainish

anyway specs from fnac atm which i reckon will change in time, btw clue is in Language 2 English

FYI, if any thread titles need changing, hit tools at the bottom and report and state what it needs changing to

stuff it pre-ordered on this from amazon 18.79euro £14.88 delivered.

after recent hmv quality issues that i had on x-men i can't risk it plus the extra trip there as well to come home find damage underneath the jcard there just not good enough of late.

also the FS one to me looks like is going to be exactly the same which is up atm for $29.99 canadian which works out £16.63 then goto add in postage and usual other gb costs, for me makes the french one the sensible choice only downside will be upside down spine but can live with that.
