i see a lot of angry posts already, but i wonder how many actually care about the film really, and how many are just pissed cause they got beaten to the ebay punch

Weather 1 scalper buys a hundred copies or 10 of u buy 2 copies, lest be honest and admit that either way the steelbook will end up on ebay

Not me, I only buy 1 copy and it gets used. Reselling is of zero interest to me.

Always makes me laugh seeing the whining when people think they've missed a steel going on sale. The whole point of collecting is to have something desirable, if everything was easily attainable it would just be a more expensive amaray.

i agree, going for german release myself as its most likely going to be alot cheaper anyway, the only thing limited about this is the j-card/info card anyway oh and the ES sticker

Surely the writing in English instead of German also adds to this one over the German (for English speaking people anyway)

I have a strong feeling the ''scalpers'' got to this one. Prices will be high until release, for those brave enough to sell high and hope their copies are not damaged upon arrival. But once released it'll probably be a bit like Iron Man, Watchmen, Battle Royale where there will be so many copies of it out there that prices will tumble for a short period until copies dry up.

I could be wrong but that is my guess.

Seems to be the trend mostly these days. Bit like the ticket tout market, seems to be more people scalping than people actually collecting/buying because they want it.

This all comes down to what is up or sale - these are low quantity runs, from a retailer which has now sparked collectors' interests. Other 4k runs of titles on say Zavvi (which do int shipping) have taken an age to sell out (if ever).

The reason why these are flying IMO is simply down to quantity. As soon as they reach a 4k run, then the demand will dry up.

People who make money of reselling know that the rarer/harder/indemand an item is, the more they can charge. The key as with tickets is to get yours before they do..

Really would have expected a slightly lower price being 2000 run. But its still not bad IMO so will hopefully be able to get one.

This one has a 3d disc with it so this probably offsets the increased quantity to 2k again
