I cancelled my order of this. 27 quid is too much for a bad film regardless of how nice the steel is. There's so many on ebay it wont be too hard to get one if I fall in love with the steel with real life pictures. I just wish this artwork was exclusive and for a better film.

Plenty on EBay????
Some sellers have managed to snap up 40 copies between them, how is that allowed
When us collectors get 1 or at a push 2 to add to our collection
The seller is making over £6.00 profit on each and that's not inc postage
Sorry for the rant guys.
Not bitter I secured 1 on play when it was released, but I just think its wrong imho

Thanks guys grabbed some more copies for family and friends, kinda like this one and the 2000 run is a bonus. Somehow I think the next ES release will be 4k.

Currently 41 in stock. Seems a lot of people are cancelling their orders based on a few comments that the film is crap.

Perhaps someone could do one last Group Buy to satisfy our American collectors?

56 now - think people are getting the point that:

1. ES are overcharging the living daylights out of us
2. The movie is an absolute pile, and not at all worth buying

Got to agree on the price but as for the movie itself, reviews have been out for ages and they have generally been better than the first movie, so I would expect people to know what they getting into.

I think a lot of the people that pre-ordered bagged more than one copy with the intention to sell/trade one but since this came online it has popped up in so many other countries that to get rid of the extra copy for what you paid for it at ES would be a struggle at best. Look at Hansel & Gretel, same sort of reviews and less copies produced by ES but there are loads on the market and I for one am so glad that I missed out as I ended up with a superior Korean copy.
I think ES need to sort their pricing out or at the very least get a much more superior version than what the rest of the world are selling.

I agree. There's only so much of Entertainment Store's £26.99 SteelBook releases the consumers will take, and now after three they have finally had enough. It was somewhat justified with Jack Reacher due to the extremely limited print run (unbeknown that the UK print run would then be doubled), but all of Entertainment Store's so-called exclusives have been part of much larger worldwide print runs, and the consumers have finally realised that they are being shafted - Not only with the price, but also with less content than other countries!

ES should either lower their prices, or provide more content that warrants the £26.99 asking price. Or secure a proper exclusive that isn't available anywhere else.

ES have gone a bit quiet of late.

Their 4th exclusive has to offer more than whats already been done. Their approach of securing a small allocation (though the allocations have been growing each release) from an existing release and slapping a sticker on it just won't cut it again, I feel.

People have a choice to buy or not. ES dont force our hands, they charge £26.99 a steel, which isn't exactly cheap, but then it is down to the collector to decide if they can justify the £26.99 for the steel... I personally couldn't justify paying that for Jack Reacher when the French one was less than £20 and so i dodn't buy it, and that was the end of that. But then i gladly paid that for H&G because i had heard decent things about the film...

It is not ES's fault, they are free to charge whatever they want, it is us as collectors who are free to decide whether we are going to buy it or not...

With this release however i don't mind paying the price at all because of the 3D content, although had this been 2D like H&G then they would not get my money as the film is suppose to be average, the 3D is the selling point for me... :)

They probably tried to get the latest Star Trek feature but were outbid by another retailer (if the HMV rumour turns out to true). That means their next exclusive will be 'Pain and Gain' or 'World War Z', personally I'm hoping for the later.
