Listen, the artworks not bad, but the price tag coupled with the dog**** on your shoe film means this is an awful buy. Im as selective as anyone on here when it comes to steelbooks because its just gone stupid (only have 6 steelbooks), but wouldnt pick this up for £5, wouldnt even take it if it was free, no point

I actually enjoyed the first film. It was a fun action film that didn't take itself too seriously, with some great special effects! However, I'm not too keen on any films featuring The Rock, as I don't really rate him as a very good actor.

I like it a lot. Some people think the ending doesn't seem that big. But the action scenes are quite good as a rule.
The actor playing Flint is a little dull but his action scenes and moves are quite good.

I'm getting it.

I emailed es yesterday and pointed out this was not acceptable. I have had a reply offering me a replacement or full refund.

Why do you bother coming onto this thread then if you're so selective and have no interest in this particular movie??

You hate it, we get it. But some people are looking forward to receiving their copy and don't need to be constantly reminded how bad you thought the film was?

On another note, does this really have a glossy finish to it? It looks matt in the photos??

Guys, if u like special fatures i have bad news - apparently the UK edition (also rest of EU?) has a bunch of content deliberately put on the dvd instead of the bluray by Paramount. This is according to a couple of user reviews on amazon:

...god knows why, (to force ppl to also buy the separate dvd?) but it seems true as the walmart edition has over a hour of bonus features (pics in the walmart thread) and uk edition just has 1 featurette and a couple of deleted scenes

i guess the 3 disc german edition (with the extra dvd) also has this get up too? meaning if u want the full special features in HD u will have to get the NA amray or walmart steel.

ofc some dont care about bonus content, but that seems like a prety underhand move for those that do like the extras. Also tho, another problem is us version dosent include extended edition i think, making things even more complicated for those who want the best version

when you consider some of the films out so far this year this film is actually far from bad... when films like scary movie 5 and a haunted house come out we.... should be gratefull for g.i. joe retaliation!!!

Well it's Friday now and it's been 9 days. Yep 9,
I gave up on Tuesday and just ordered another.. Refund after 14 days they say.
Lets see if this one turns up..it's a total mess..they did a quick job with the H&G but this..

Its not glossy. Its matte with a few nice 'shiney' parts here and there. I think its an ace looking steelbook.
