I think it is illegal to ship liquor via USPS, UPS & Fedex after reading their websites. I'm not sure how to get one to you even if I find one. Although, I may be able to send you the empty bottle.

Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I think I can help out with this. When it comes to shipping beer in the US there are a few things you need to watch out for.

#1 - Don't ship through USPS. It's highly illegal. You can ship through FedEx or UPS. It's frowned upon, but they really don't care as long as it doesn't break or leak too bad during shipping. If it does, they will keep your package, and you might get a phone call or a small fine. I've been trading beer all over the US for a little over a year, received two bottles that leaked, and had one break in one of my shipments to Mobius. That's why you should pack all of your stuff in sealed plastic bags with plenty of padding. If you do decide to ship in the US or international, you could always say that you are shipping collectable bottles, or yeast samples, or something like that. Get creative.

#2 - Il Furiano, International shipping is possible. I've never done it, but I'm part of a local beer group, and I know of a few guys that have done it. I think the easiest way to get a bottle or two of Iron Throne would be to check with stores in the US that are willing to ship beer and see if they are willing to ship overseas. The two that come to mind are The Wine and Cheese Place from here in St. Louis, and France44. If not, check with Raspor. You'll be able to find a lot of his posts in the Beer section of the forum. He's able to find a lot of US beers and he lives in Sweden. One of these days, he and I will have to get a trade together because I really want some Cantilion! (I know it's distributed in the US, but it's not available in Missouri.)

#3 - Ommegang distributes all over the US, so I wouldn't just limit the questions to just the NY people. I was able to pick up a bottle for $7 when it came out. Also, check out Ommegang's website. It's one of the nicer brewery websites I've seen.

This is sad, but I got hooked on GoT after the first episode. Too bad I've only been able to watch two episodes. I'm checking the disks out from my local library. I need to just break down and buy a copy or trade for one.

Btw I just spoke to the ParcelForce guy who delivered my hammer. Apparently if you have something like that delivered to the UK, ask Valyrian Steel to mark "GIFT" on it and you won't face customs charges. Wish I had known that!

First time "it" went, it was like $1150
This one, started at $600. Nobody bidded til 2 seconds left. Went from $600 to $1275 in three bids!

I said "it" because from what I understand, only one was made. So I'm assuming it was bought off eBay then relisted not sure though.
