Seen the first 5 episodes now and must admit it is growing on me. The characters and character development is really great. Not that much action so far but I have a feeling that will change.

Anyone have some views on this series? :scat:

last nights episode ending was EPIC. I loved how Tyrion just went off

like the scenes with Dany, though I thought she was a bit too apologetic to her future husband (can't remember his name ATM) though I guess it is part of the learning curve of being queen. Like the dragon scene.

Every scene Oberyn is in is gold. Now that Lady Olenna is gone he is picking up so much slack. I would have loved to have seen a scene with them two together or better yet throw in Tywin as well. I know there is animosity between Martells and Tyrell because of Willas but iirc Oberyn and Willas are actually cordial to one another as Willas knows it was not Oberyn fault what happened to him. They even have a liking for horse meat. So I presume Lady Olenna would be above it like she seems to be most of the time and they would get along splendidly.

the whole Greyjoy scene added absolutely nothing and I mean that it was a waste of 10 minutes of an already short 50 minute episode

Last nights episode was amazing! :scat:

The Dragon flaming the goat then whipping it away for it's dinner..:hilarious: Brilliant!
 
it's about damn time they showed the dragons. It was what, 2 or 3 episodes without them.

As for the end of the episode

I had to rewatch it again cause it was just so awesome how it ends. Can't wait for the trial by combat, but I really hope there's no more 20 minute segments spent on one thing. That trial took forever, I wanted to see other things. Also, as pointed out above. The grey joy portion is completely pointless and could have been spent on a much better story line like ARYA AND THE HOUND!

Last episode was by far one of the greatest I've ever seen on GoT! Peter Dinklange better win an Emmy! :champ:

All I know tonights episode will be fu**ing EPIC! I'm just saddened this Season is coming to an end! :angry: :(
