Completed Game Of Thrones (Season 8) [HBO]

Seen the first 5 episodes now and must admit it is growing on me. The characters and character development is really great. Not that much action so far but I have a feeling that will change.

Anyone have some views on this series?

Yeah I think some are forgetting water is reflective. The second a drop of water touches that eye it will reflect a different colour to what's around it. Even in the slow mo above you can see loads of water flick out as John splashes out lol it's obvious

If longclaw could do that the eye would of changed seconds before John emerges

Exactly... plus the eyes are apparently crystal, so they'd already be fairly reflective anyway. I honestly think people are probably just overanalysing it, but it would be cool if it's true and ends up having some real meaning... I guess time will tell.

Seen loads of GOT theories floating about. Which is the most stupidest one that people have heard?

I read one about Ned Stark been alive and that he was in fact a faceless man. That just seems the most obsurd one that I have seen.

I don't want either to die but arya is one of my fav characters so if I had to choose it would be Sansa to get the snip

Also someone has to die at the meet. I hope it's not tyrion or bronn. John will be safe obviously and I want to see cersei in it until the end (she can die in the last episode)

Littlefinger needs to be killed too but I've been saying that since season one. Hate the actor and his awful accent that's got worse every episode for about 50 episodes. Your either Irish or English. Choose one and stick with it lol

Yeah I did think that and I've seen some rumours too. But I wouldn't be surprised if that slippery snake makes it to the last episode along with cersei. Both survivors but in different ways. He's just a coward that's survived far too long

I remember last year when people were thinking he was going to be sitting in that throne at the end.

Budget. They have a certain amount of $ per season. If they cut down the episodes they can have more dragons, more battles, etc.
I am very disappointed it isn' longer as well. This season really could have used a couple more episodes to help with the crazy pace they are moving at right now.

I actually like the guy who plays Little finger, I think he plays the character well. After pretty much causing the wars you have to wonder how he will end up.

Plus, they always wanted to do a certain amount of hours from the beginning. Which left them with 13 episodes for the final run which they split up. But of course, budget should have played a big part in this decision.
