Polarising movie at it's best when day lewis is lighting up the screen ,with admirable support from jim broad bent .That scene when he's sat in the chair draped in the Stars and Stripes is truly incredible .

At it's worst anytime Cameron Diaz walks on screen .Until the disk transfer is confirmed I won't be touching it and even then I'll wait for the inevitable £7.99 price drop .

Looking forward to this steelbook as it is one of my all time favorite movies. Daniel Day Lewis's performance is positively riveting as Bill the Butcher and he steals the show every time he is present on screen. The scene in the beginning when they zoom in on his American Eagle glass eye gets me every time. This is another title that I wish Film Arena would cover although I'm sure it will never happen.
