Fellow Ninjas,

It is with sad regret to announce that one of our members - BURRAGUM - who had been suffering with a heart condition passed away around early December. He was 55 years old.

I've only announced this now as i was waiting for some info from his daughter & son regarding where we can donate to a good cause close to Gary. As they're still getting over this shock i'm still waiting to hear from them - Once i find this out I will update the thread.

Lastly his son and daughter mentioned that they were aware of how much HDN meant to their dad and they proved this by trying to complete trades/sales that had been arranged whilst their dad was in hospital. It just goes to show what a top bloke he was.

RIP my friend. :(

I'm not sure any age isn't too young, but 55 is much too young. I never had the privilege, but he sounds like a great gut. RIP, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I will deeply miss my Friend ! :(:(:(

Im very sad at this although I had "suspected" something after he had told me of his complications.

RIP my Dear Friend and I do wish condolences to his Family .

He was a very top notch Person.

Take care
john

We exchanged quite a few email messages over a couple of deals with Gary's very buyer-friendly payment terms. He was a great person to work with. Sad news, indeed.

That part got to me. Wow.

I barely know about him, but I've heard his name mentioned around the forums several times before, and I've heard about his condition too. I'm really surprisingly sad about this.

And I'm not even trying to just sound sentimental just for the sake of his passing, but all these Ninjas (myself included) hoped for him to get well and send their prayers and all and I just feel like it created this bond between us (ninjas) to him.
And it doesn't make it less sad to hear his family mentioned in this thread and how much they cared for him and helped out the ninja community for their dad while he was in the hospital. They didn't even have to do that, but they knew it meant a lot to him and I can only imagine what other kind of things they did to make these last days the best for him.

I really don't know what to say, I'm just really shocked about these tragic news... RIP Gary, I'm sorry I didn't get to know you better. From the small info I've got, you seemed like a really nice person. Prayers to his family, friends and everybody who knew him :'(
