Mine hasn't shipped and i ordered it the day it went live.

Yeah same here, I had a payment problem with my 3D so I got that sorted first thing yesterday and still despatch
So I sent zavvi a message and was told with it being a payment problem you get moved to the back of the que and mine will be posted when more become available.

I had the "payment problem" email, funny cos my card didn't even need updating..... something smells fishy

Really wished they had combined the 3D and 4K into a single edition. Personally I prefer the 3D presentation on my 4K display and liking it more with each repeat viewing. The richness of the GiTS world seems more alive to me when viewed in 3D. And yes that Dolby Atmos sound mix - wow, definitely demo quality. So glad they kept that Atmos mix on both 3D and 4K discs.

That's odd, I was told it gets held for you for 48 hours and then if you don't update it gets cancelled

Tbh they lie about so much I don't what's true with them anymore

Usually any payment problems I've had in the past once I'd updated my card it was still sent out the same day.
This was the first reply I got sent today.

Yeah a very strange reply indeed, don't normally have to wait this long after resolving the card problem unless Zavvi are waiting for more stock to arrive for other outstanding orders of this version of the Steelbook.

It's been a while since my last payment problem but i remember when my last card expired and I had Payment problems on like 15 orders and when I sorted them they were sent within that day or the next day. So yeah I imagine it could be a stock issue and waiting for more and considering this was delayed due to stock it very well could be the reason


My card expires next Feb so I'll have to deal with all that soon but luckily I don't pre order much from them anymore lol. Just my marvel steels and few other bits

My card hadn't even expired. Pretty cheesed off as it stands.... I guess if worst comes to worst I'll go for for FAC edition instead.

I didn't even realise you had the same. That's very odd but it sounds like they are waiting for more stock unless there was a genuine issue with your card but only you'd know that

I also had an issue with my creditcard about 2 months ago. It had already been used several times and was not expired. It was suddenly not possible anymore. I got payment errors.
After contacting zavvi they got the message back from their payment provider (don't know the correct name for it) that the name I used for the card contained a dot "." -> R. Schiks. After removing the dot from the name transactions went fine again.

Luckily they didn't: I don't want to pay for a 4K disc I can't play, so separate editions for 3D and 4K are very welcome

It is odd mate, there's nothing wrong with the card, what's more I've been using it to make other purchases at zavvi

My guess, they oversold and don't have enough stock to fulfill all the orders.

Possibly but they had issues with getting stock so it might be that tbh

My card was charged yesterday but still no shipping email and the order on my @zavvi account still says processing for my 3D copies.

Meh, I don't know why I kept my order. The finish is just ugly, one of my photos made it look better than it does in hand! (The first pic)

Seriously dull finish and pointless use of spot gloss in that title. In the light the image just looks washed out.
Debossing on the back is misaligned too and some tiny little marks
