That usually happens if to many words have been used you have a limit on the number you can use
I take a guess your reply was long and angry

Shorten your reply you want to post and it should go through if not just start a new one
Thanks. I'll try that later then.

Would be a bit helpful if they actually explained that to you instead of leaving you in limbo.

Trying to get across how incompetent they are is tasking with such few words!! :p

Bunch of morons. Receive a damaged copy that they can't replace, complain about the packaging, manage to order a 4k copy a few days ago, sent in a card mailer again :banghead:. @zavvi, this packaging problem needs to be addressed urgently, it should not be blind luck that we receive our items in decent condition. I got lucky this time, but the longer GotGV2 is in transit, the more panicked I'm getting.

After this and now GOTGV2 I'm seriously thinking of never using them again. EVER.

They are the most frustrating company I've ever dealt with. They never take anything on board. Not just from me (or you) but hundreds of other customers. We all can't be wrong.

It's like they're determined to run the business into the ground dishing out refunds willy nilly without actually doing anything about it.

This is why I tagged Zavvi in the Ghost of the Shell thread to go back to dispatching all orders from Guernsey for all customers especially for steelbooks
Using mix of different warehouses to dispatch orders from is not working and causing lot more issues than a lot are even aware about

UK members has been lucky with most recently been dispatched from Guernsey or Warrington but it's very possible they are now using the European warehouses also now for UK address as well

I love to know the reason for the change with Zavvi in regards as to why a lot of orders are been shipped from Holland/Sweden/Germany in the past 2 months for a lot of European Customers something has caused this change and so far Zavvi have not answered my questions regarding this or my request they go back to using Guernsey for shipping all steelbook orders

They can still dispatch steels from wherever they want so long as they ship them is boxes. To me it makes no difference if it's posted from Europe or Guernsey as it's the same for a lot of the guys in Europe or further afield ordering form Zavvi. They just need to provide ALL warehouses with boxes so they can ship them properly.

They also need to sort out their customer service for returns/replacements but that's a whole other can or worms.

Your missing the whole point of my post it's not just about steelbooks or the packaging there is an increase of orders not arriving to customers due to getting lost in the post this has been on the increase since orders started to be shipped from various warehouses within Europe
Previous to this the majority of orders got shipped from Guernsey to most countries and was fast delivery for most and only the odd occasion of non delivery

Most of my orders now get dispatched from Sweden even though I live in Rep of Ireland and delivery times now are 10-14 days and that's if the order arrives at all
Previously my orders when shipped from Guernsey was delivered in 4-7 days with most arriving in 4-5 days and when shipped direct from UK warehouse most times was using a courier 1-2 days delivery time with free tracked delivery

2 of my orders so far in the past 2 months did not arrive and 1 order was replaced and the other a refund given
There is lot of other customers who had increase of orders not arriving with replacements given or refunds and have posted this recently on HDN forum and other web forums

Why the change of where orders are been dispatched from and why the increase in customer orders not been delivered compared to before

After conversing back and forth I've come away with a refund and a £10 credit added to my account. Least they can do.

Have to head to eBay for this now and pay double the price plus shipping even though I preoreded it on day one.

My GOTGV2 better not go the same way!

Everyone who received the 4K version who ordered the 3D version should return it to @zavvi as not as described/received the wrong item. I haven't heard of anyone who has received their 3D disc yet, and it seems zavvi are not that bothered about it either.

When hundreds/thousands of returns start pouring in back at zavvi (at their expense in postage), they will soon learn their lesson.

They seem to be behaving like Everything blu on this board, quite happy to publish a post about a new steelbook coming up, but when they are challenged or asked for help, they suddenly disappear like cowards.....

I agree it is a pretty big step back for Zavvi to start this practice but I have a feeling they won't care about delivery times so long as it fits within their timeframe. The missing items will hopefully show them that is is a huge mess and probably be the only thing that changes their practice.

As irritating as their new measures are my point still stands. I barely have any faith in Zavvi as it is and if things turn up in their timeframe then it's fine. For some reason, my items always seem to turn up after everyone elses but I'm used to it now and only use Zavvi when I have to. The bare minimum I ask though is that they item is protected as it's worse having to deal with their customer service when it's damaged (sending photos, pleading for returns labels, hoping they still have the item in stock to replace it). I'd rather wait a little longer than get something super quick that's got a high chance of getting damaged due to shoddy packaging.

On a different note, if anybody has a copy of the 3D disc that they went to offload, PM me. I'd be interested in buying it. Just the disc is fine......

The distributor should do a new order of the steelbook for the 2D/3D Discs

Majority of the print run was meant to be for the 3D/2D release
The distributor messed up the order the wrong way round

They ended up with 3D/2D steelbook been the very limited release when it was meant to be the 4K release

The distributor should have simply done 1 steelbook order and put the discs inside and fixed the error by ordering new 3D/2D Jcards
The extra 4K Jcards simply should have be put in the bin and correct number of 3D/2D jcard been ordered

Zavvi should just stop this nonsense of two separate editions anyway.

Just put 4K, 3D the whole lot in one package like HMV and it would have cut out this mess to begin with. But they try to rip you off every chance they get...

That's decided by the distributor
HMV also have releases split between 4K and 3D

The Distributor should really fixed the error before been released as the steelbook itself is the same it would only have meant a release date change

What the distributor should really now is reduce the dealer price so Zavvi could sell a Steelbook at 3D release price and include the 3D Discs in a disc sleeve or take out the 4K disc and replace with 3D Disc and get a 3D jcard printed

The overall print run was the same they just messed up what was meant to go inside

Or maybe the distributor is right and the 4K version is more wanted than the 3D version :naughty:
On top of that, the 4K is more expensive so they can make more money.
