I didn't mind the Pertwee/McGann logo as it became the de facto 'classic series' logo. Besides, it was at least appropriate on some of the titles.True but not using the proper Dr Who logos for the relative eras bugs the hell out of me.
It really does not sit well with a lot of fans....I didn't mind the Pertwee/McGann logo as it became the de facto 'classic series' logo. Besides, it was at least appropriate on some of the titles.
The Whittaker logo doesn't appear onscreen for any of the boxsets. I wonder if the sets will even reach that far.
The steelbooks are a mess of Pertwee logo on some Tennant releases, Whittaker on classic releases, Capaldi and, admittedly, Whittaker and the 60th anniversary logo on classic and 60th anniversary. Absolute mix-and-match.
And with it being exclusive to HMV and not Zavvi it’ll actually arrive on the day of release. This is way better than the other, so it's an easy choice for me. Ordered.
I haven't seen the movie yet but prefer the other artwork cause it has alot going on. Which is exciting to me!The other one seems to be more popular. It's probably because they have the other three pop art steelbooks and want to complete the set. I really like this art work, it would make a nice framed print.
It's nice, but it's essentially exactly the same as the poster for Afterlife, thats on the Japanese Steelbook, but covered in ice. It'd make the others look odd having 2 perfectly matching steels. You may still find that Japan use it again though.
I almost switched to the hmv one but didn't. Mine isn't dispatched yet though.Got mine this morning too, happy I went for this one over the other design now.
That's confusing because HMV sell both. By the HMV one I presume you mean this one, the HMV exclusive.I almost switched to the hmv one but didn't. Mine isn't dispatched yet though.
Yes lol. That's confusing because HMV sell both. By the HMV one I presume you mean this one, the HMV exclusive.
