Can't believe there's still no details for this. I'm assuming some sort of statue or something with it, probably Ecto-1
From the disc-content side probably equivalent to the German edition with parts 1+2 and Afterlife as 4K+2D Blu-Ray + 2 Bonus Discs.
Anticipation is building for this one but seeing Amazon, HMV and Zavvi will have stock I am starting to doubt a decent quality statue or really limited nature.
If they kepp the price there has to be something special about it, because it is nearly twice the price of the German one, that will probably be a digipack.
You saw it wrong, is 2022, not this year, 2021.
Also, I don't believe they could release it this month, since now is the theatrical release.
I too got mistaken on such dates, sometimes; that's how I know now to check and re-check to be sure.
U.S version is $89.99 and has Ghost Trap style box, GB1, 2 & Afterlife 2 disc versions, another Blu-ray not detailed and a making Ghostbusters book.
So either we get a different pack or we get screwed on price

Preordered it. Dont own the first 2 in 4K yet and been waiting to add them to the collection plus really enjoyed Afterlife. Price is a bit steeper than I'd like but it's a nice set overall and the 'Making Ghostbusters' book is a pleasant surprise
So where are the "what's the point of this?" posts since they plan on making a sequel?
Or is that just for steelbook sets?
To be fair, the rate they're going we are a good 25-30 years from the next box set

Some pretty big news to report this morning, as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment just confirmed that Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be available to own digitally on January 4th and will be coming to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 1st!

Some pretty big news to report this morning, as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment just confirmed that Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be available to own digitally on January 4th and will be coming to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 1st!
