I know many people are happy now, but this makes me kind of sad knowing that WEA Asian steels are now getting reprinted here in Europe (maybe even in other overseas countries). That does not make any sense to me and this is not the idea of offering WEA collector editions... Maybe we should ask HDZETA how this could happen. Usually we collectors are willing to spend a bit more on WEA editions and thus this is not fair business. However that is only my personal opinion and I also know live will go on and that there are really more important things. But whatever. This is my hobby and thus I care.
Best wishes,
Michael
Helmet and Frame full gloss / the background is zero finish / back full glossAny idea if Amazon.it ship in a other packaging when I buy 2 Steelbooks?
@mariojm43, thanks, and the background is mat or zero finish?
What is with the backcover (full gloss, spot gloss or zero finish)?
Totally agree with you on this Michael. Again, just goes to show what they think of the collectors. The people who keep this market going.I know many people are happy now, but this makes me kind of sad knowing that WEA Asian steels are now getting reprinted here in Europe (maybe even in other overseas countries). Hdzeta release is still exclusive as it had other contents as in the Full Slip/Lenti/Booklet/artcards etc and was released in China
A film studio since steelbooks itself it's their property they can re release any product after a period of time in another country or other countries
A retailer in another country can have a exclusive for a period of time and once that expires can be re releaaed
Universal owns the distributions rights to the steelbook itself and the Blu-ray Discs
Yes, but then these steels shouldn't be advertised as WEA in the first place.

Same steel…

Changed the disc for Dutch subs…Italian looks better
What's with the two discs 1 in HDzeta?

I would very much doubt of the HDzeta steelbook was a consideration in this pressing. They were simply released in Italy as a steelbook and I doubt very much if the distributor would have been aware of the HDzeta in another territory. Simply down to pot luck. We got a deluxe Lawrence of Arabia steelbook form China but the European steelbook, oh dear so I do think there is a lot of random chance in the country and what they plan to do. We could just as easily got a pop art steelbook (thank Goodness we didn't !)
But they're exactly the same steelbook, how exactly does the Italian one look better, do you mean you prefer the minimal look of one disc as opposed to 2?
at the end of my sentence. I was joking.
