It looks cool but this isn't a martial arts flic. If it was it would be perfect. Maybe Roman Numerals would be more appropriate rather than Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese ) letters.

The white version is a pass for me, to much writing and the dreaded blu ray banner of death. It is close to being something special though. The UK/Thailand versions need embossing though!

Yours includes the remastered disc as you asked for a replacement. Retail version never came with the remastered disc.

This is a very fine piece of art that would sit proudly on anyone's collection. Extremely rare, special, elegant and beautiful indeed

IMO the best Gladiator steel available only with the Chinese characters and the priceless slipcover.

so is the steelbook exactly the same as other country's white versions? (besides the slip of course)

it is matte finish with shiny shield and sword and some lettering i believe on back ... something on back i think.

as for other comments in teh thread ... yeah if you dont like asian lettering then this is probably not for you as that slip makes it very valuable. Steel is exact same as thailand.

I have a thing for Asian lettering so to me this looked awesome. I got one at release.

Just found this thread, and am surprised no comments for over a year! Is it because no one has this, or because this is so rare, there are no trades, and there is nothing to talk about? Between the metal slipcase and this, it is a toss-up which is nicer...

This is my No1 want, I've never ever seen a copy for sale or trade

AA, most if not all long time collectors will already have this in their collection if they were lucky to be collecting when this first came out or traded for it. Comments usually die down as we get farther away from the street date. In this section, comments are kept to observations of the movie or steelbook after its street date. Trade/sale discussions are posted in the trading section.

My personal opinion is that because this was released in limited numbers, very few folks have any left to trade/sell or are simply keeping them in their collection.

I think the other one I told you about coming my way was the sealed copy of Terminator Salvation from Taiwan, now that is a beauty too
