I have a couple of different artists I go to more often than not, and one in particular who has done a lot of my work. But I will always go to the right person for the job, so if it's something my normal guy doesn't tend to do, I'll go to someone else.
@pdbluray That's a tough one as I try not to think too hard about it as I'll end up itching to get something done.
I have one sleeve full of traditional tattoos and one sleeve that is Japanese, my hands would probably continue in that vein, with some lettering on my knuckles.
@Scary Hair Ultimately, I am very lucky in that we have some of the worlds greatest tattoo artists in the UK and many of them concentrated in London.
On top of this 2 or 3 of the UK tattoo conventions that happen yearly attract the worlds best, meaning no artist is really inaccessible.
I'd happily travel almost anywhere for the right artist, make a holiday out of it, it's just fortunate that a lot of them are within a few miles of me or come to conventions a few miles from me.
I have some that I would maybe do differently in hindsight, but none that I don't like... Mainly by ignoring (now ex) girlfriends suggesting that I should get their names done haha
