So many better steelbook choices than this abomination. I think this was the first film that I simply had to switch off half way through as it was so awful, and it takes A LOT for me not to see a film the whole way through.

Really? I saw it at the cinema and I thought it was epic. I didnt think the transfer on this was particularly good though.

This one is going to be very forgiving as far as scratches. They will just blend right in.

It's hilarious the way people criticise this film as an insult to the "classic" movies! Have you seen those dozens of Japanese sequels? Hardly Oscar material. If the franchise was ever spoiled, it was the Japanese who did it themselves. At least this version tried to make him the rampaging force of fury he was always supposed to be.
