Received my copy today from Amazon and, yeah... easily my least favourite from ToC so far. Nothing impresses me with this release unfortunately - I actually like the artwork, but the finish etc lets it down. At least we can't complain that the mock-up didn't warn us though lol.

Agree the finish is awful. Looks super cheap. The worst TOC so far

back in stock at amazon.. but the consensus is that its crap and not worth it, right?
I wouldn’t bother, unless you want a sub £30 4K version. It’s the best “premium-lite” currently but that’s not saying much.
The Amazon set is probably better. Hopefully there will be a decent 4K premium release In the future, should be for a film like this.

From the comments on all these releases, so far, it's probably been:

Blade Runner - good (start)
Wonder Woman - meh
Fury Road - good
Ready Player one - meh
2001 - good
Goodfellas - meh

V for Vendetta looks like it will continue the pattern.
Spot on

Ah, vast improvement. Not mine. Would have been much better. Glossy, looks much better.

blade runner is meh as well... pretty bad even

agree with the rest.. 2001 is actually quite nice if you place the steel right behind the slipcover
