I used to love the books when I was younger. I still own all the original series & some from the others.

I can't say I'm a massive fan of Jack Black though so I don't know what to do!

Film was a 6/10 at a push. I think this film was perfect for my son who is nine years of age. Over reliant on CGI, and to me it wasn't all that impressive either. I still had fun with it though.

Has anyone heard anything about the actual region encoding for this? Zavvi claims that it works in Regions A, B and C, but Amazon states that it's locked to Region B only.

That is extremely odd. Must be the first time a 3d disc has been region locked while 2d disc is region free. It's usually the other way around.

Yeah looks like region A and C for the 3d disc, but 2d definitely plays on region B. Only got the asian release for the 3d, will probably get the amaray 3d and swap out the disc.
