So, you won't buy Guardians of the Galaxy, Transformers, Avengers, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and so on.

I think you missed my point. All the films you mentioned, I'd gladly watch over and over even on tv, but Gravity was one of these movies that worked so much better at the cinema. It lost the impact on tv IMO. I love steel books, but there have been so much coming out lately that I have had to decide which were really good and that I'd love to watch over and over. I cannot justify buying something that I know I won't want to watch again just because it's in a BF steel book! I'm not loving the design... I'm sure knowing BF that it will be great in hand, but not for me. It's a personal choice.

It's BAAACCCCKKKK! Awesome news. I wonder what made WB change their mind. Maybe they are starting to see the value in a positive relationship with Blufans and the collector community in general.

Or not. But I can dream.

Just caved on the UK one when Zavvi had it for a decent price a few weeks ago. But, if this one is full gloss, and slips and inside art pan out, I would be happy to add this one to my collection as well. Very great film.

More blufans is always a good thing. I hope the slip looks that good and is also complementary. Thanks to confirming the confirming, domalorite!

That would be hilarious if it was why WB pulled out of releasing this the first time... because it doesn't say '3D' despite having the 3D disc. They wouldn't approve the art until recently, I wonder if that WAS why? They are issuing more steelbooks now that do not contain the 3D text (whether on their own or through Blufans, etc.)

Regarding your point about Gravity being a cinema film opposed to a movie you watch at home? Couldn't agree more.
Caught this at the cinema when it was released and it amazed me- the sheer scope of it worked perfectly on a huge screen. Picked this up on blu-ray when it was released and it was almost as if I was watching a different movie- it had a totally different feel to it (& this was watching on a 55" screen..)
