Maybe that's the defect

You can see a line to the lefet of the light/flash, thats the paint defect.

If you look at the picture on the Amazon.de website it's exactly the same. I can see what you mean but it's on all my copies. It's the artwork.

Also if you look at pic in OP it's there too.

Couldn't help myself and picked one up at the HMV in Heathrow's Terminal 1. Got it for 15 pounds since there's no VAT added to purchases made in the terminals. IIRC there are three HMVs in Heathrow, so if you're travelling to/ from the UK or just passing through on a connecting flight its def worth a look for Steelbooks on the cheap.

I will have two German ones and this one. I guess the german release will get cracked open. Just have to wait to probably July to do that

Finally got home after 3 months to check out all my steels ive ordered since being away. It was like christmas today. I was a little dissapointed in the quality of this steel. Seems like they went the cheap route. Oh well. Still fairly nice looking.

I can't believe the comment I made earlier last year.

This is the glossiest painted steel I know of. It is what I like to call a premium finish!!! My favorite steel of last year.
